The Midori fuzz is a two transistor hi-gain fuzz, with two clipping stages giving it a compressed nature and lots of attitude.
The Aka Overdrive has an headroom you won’t believe, it can give you mild to fat gain, or you can go into boost territory when you roll back the gain knob, with lots and lots of volume on hand.
Both are handmade circuits, point-to-point soldered. Both are handpainted using a japanese technique called suminagashi, where you apply the paint to water and then dip the pedal into the water.
