Beggining is spelled

The thing that makes things become more than things is their “who”, “when” and “why”. So here’s the thing: when it comes to Volture, those are ever-changing variables. Volture wasn’t Volture in the beginning, it was just André, a guy who likes to break things apart and then (try to) put them back together. This was around 2013, and he was just doing it out of fun, stubbornness and passion. Fast forward 8 years, and Volture is André and Patrícia, the married couple who build pedals out of fun, stubbornness and… well, love.

Well, we’re guessing you want a little more detail than that. Well, André had been playing guitar in bands for more than half is life, and passed through all the stages of the guitarist/pedal relationship. From “Nah, I just need a guitar and an amp” to lugging around a crappy handmade pedalboard with about a kazillion pedals, that is. So he knew a bit and wanted to find out more, and he started researching, tweaking, building, failing at builds, screaming in ecstasy when something worked remotely well… In time he found himself building for others.

And they lived fuzzily ever after.

Then comes Patrícia. A designer, an artist, a badass focused entrepreneur who not only helps André with inspiration, expanding his techniques for decorating pedals and starting to build on Volture’s identity with her own style, but gives this “just for fun” thing the drive and the purpose to become Volture. She may not hold a power chord, but she does power this endeavour. In time, Volture has become not a business, but an enterprise, one that has one constant: whatever we do, we do it once, for you, and you only. 1/1 series, from our hands to yours.
